If you have made a decision to follow Christ or have newly rededicated your life to Him, the next step is a public declaration of your faith in water baptism.
The next Water Baptism is a beach baptism, scheduled for Sunday, February 22, 2026, as part of the 10:30 AM worship service at City View.
CLASS: A brief baptism class is required. It meets at 9:30 AM on the same date, designed to give you a clear, biblical understanding of what water baptism is really about and a chance to ask any questions.
YOUR STORY: Please write a couple of sentences about why you have chosen to be baptized at this time. Your statement will be read when you are called up during the service, so you don't have to prepare to say anything at that time.
AGES: Water baptism is offered for persons ages 8 and up. For persons birth through age 7 we offer Child Dedications. Please contact our early childhood director, Catrina Kalesh, catrina@cityviewsd.com, about upcoming child dedication dates.
BRING: On the day you are to be baptized, please bring a change of clothes.
T-SHIRT: We will provide you with a t-shirt to wear. Please indicate your size choice when you register.
